In this election Kathy C. Hochul came in first with 60% of the vote which amounted to 168,991 votes. Timothy Wu came in second and obtained 40% of the vote which amounted to 112,037 votes. The total non-write-in votes in this election were 281,028. This count does not include write-ins.
